Shield Knight gets clutched by the dastardly foes, and the only person who can liberate Shield Knight is the Shovel Knight. The game offers an 8-Bit retro game inspired gameplay in which it allows the players to be the great Shovel Knight who goes on an adventure to rescue his friend, Shield Knight.
